Ingredients (for 4 persons)
  • Salt

    2 teaspoons

  • Violet onion

  • Watercress

    2 cups (leaves only)

  • Roasted Black Sesame Seeds

    2 tablespoons

Directions
  • (Make the dressing.) Mix the ingredients for the dressing well.

  • Cut the violet cabbage into stripes, sprinkle salt, knead lightly, and, if water comes out, squeeze out it from the cabbage by hand until tender.

  • Slice the violet onion finely, toss it with the dressing from (1), leave for a while and then mix with the violet cabbage from (2).

  • Arrange watercress and ingredients from (3) on a serving dish and sprinkle with coarsely ground Roasted Black Sesame Seeds.

Violet onions, violet cabbages and watercress leaves are all vegetables with very beautiful colors. Use them as decorative accents on the meal table.
