Potatoes sauteed with sesame & Miso

Ingredients (for 4 persons)
  • Potatoes

    1 lb (approx. 450g)

  • Frying oil (Non roasted sesame oil or cooking oil)

    Appropriate amount

  • Roasted White Sesame Seeds

    1 tablespoon

  • 【Sauce for Saute】

  • Miso

    1 tablespoon

  • Tomato ketchup

    1/2 tablespoon

  • Brown sugar

    1/2 tablespoon

  • Kadoya roasted sesame oil

    1 tablespoon

Directions
  • Cut potatoes with skin on into bite-Size pieces.

  • Pour plenty of Non roasted sesame oil or cooking oil into a pan, heat, and add the potatoes to fry.

  • Remove potatoes from pan and drain oil. Remove extra oil from pan.

  • Mix the ingredients for the "sauce for saute" well in a bowl. Put the sauce in the pan and warm over a low heat.

  • Return the potatoes to the pan, sprinkle Roasted White Sesame Seeds and then saute quickly.

Tips: This dish tastes good eaten cold. Pure Sesame Oil goes well with miso and ketchup.
